The scientifically based program developed by Prof. Dr. Guy Bodenmann, University of Zurich, is unique in this form. Compared to other stress management courses, the stressfit program is not limited to teaching stress management strategies, but also creates a deeper understanding of stress and its causes. The course therefore goes beyond the topic of time management or acute strategies and focuses on a long-term preventative effect. The main aim of stressfit is to learn to understand the mechanisms of stress in different situations in order to deal with stress in a more constructive way.

The aim of this workshop is to familiarise participants with the causes and effects of their stress experience. The aim is to strengthen and build resilience, i.e. the ability to withstand stress. In particular, the following content should be conveyed

  • Deeper understanding of stress: origins and effects

  • Difference between “classic” and “personally relevant” stress

  • Sore points: How they can arise and what effects they have on the personal perception of stress

  • Application of acute strategies in stressful situations

  • Practical measures for stress prevention

Tanja

Tanja's mindfulness journey started around 6 years ago when looking

for a balance to her corporate job as well as HIT workouts (i.e.

Functional Training, Indoor Cycling). Her meditation practice

helped her stay resilient, her yoga practice helped her develop

body awareness and regular breathing exercises helped her stay

calm even in stressful times. As a yoga and meditation coach, this is exactly what Tanja brings to her

classes and helps her clients incorporate into their lives.
